TAHA in collaboration with the International Trade Centre (ITC) conducted "International Horticulture Stakeholders Conference" in Arusha, Tanzania on 9th and 10th October 2017 at the Mount Meru Hotel. The conference brought together 127 (97M, 30F) stakeholders in the horticulture industry: government, development partners, producers, processors, input dealers and exporters, to deliberate on critical issues around horticulture transformation in Tanzania. The guest of honor was the Minister for Agriculture Dr. Charles Tizeba. The conference provided an excellent cross-learning, experience sharing and networking platform to both local and international (other African countries and South Korea) partners with a common goal of driving sustainable solutions towards improving productivity, expanding markets and ensuring enabling business environment for horticulture investments in the country.
