TAHA in collaboration with Stanbic Bank conducted a two days Agri-Finance fair at Rock City Mall grounds, in Mwanza on 15th and 16th of November 2019. The event involved exhibitions of services and products by the Financial Institutions, agro-input companies and Regulatory Authorities. The 2019 Agri-finance fair was graced by the Regional Commissioner of Mwanza Hon. John Mongella who was happy to see the institutions coming together to ensure the well-being of farmers During the opening statement, the Chief Executive Officer of TAHA Jacqueline Mkindi urged the farmers who participated in the fair to use the opportunity of the fair to understand ways to acquire capital that will help expand their farming business. The fair attracted different visitors from various parts of Mwanza and neighborhood regions who had the opportunity to interact with Financial Institutions such as Stanbic bank, TADB, NMB, CRDB, NBC, TIB, Amana Bank, PASS, and TPB. Moreover, there were Agricultural Service Providers and Government Regulatory Authorities such as; Tanzania Research Institute (TARI), (TOSCI), Rijk Zwaan, Taifa Seed, East-West Seed, Poop Varie, Simusolar, Davis and Shirtliff who were also participated and showcase their services
